Fierce Fighting Championship Joins Growing SpectationSports Roster
Fierce Fighting Championship has officially joined the growing roster of regional MMA promotions streaming on SpectationSports, adding another developmental proving ground to the platform’s expanding combat sports lineup.
As regional MMA continues becoming more accessible to fans across the country, partnerships like this provide developing fighters with greater visibility while giving audiences easier access to promotions that have often operated primarily within local markets. For Fierce Fighting Championship, the addition to SpectationSports represents another step forward in bringing the Mountain West regional MMA scene to a broader audience.
Building Regional MMA in Utah
Since holding its first event on March 5, 2016, Fierce Fighting Championship has spent the past decade establishing itself as one of the key regional MMA platforms in Utah and the surrounding Mountain West region.
Now heading into its 49th event on May 16th, the promotion joins SpectationSports at a time when regional MMA is becoming more accessible than ever to fans outside of local markets.
Unlike traditional MMA hotbeds such as Nevada, California, or Florida, Utah has historically remained a relatively untapped region in terms of producing nationally recognized MMA talent. Fierce Fighting Championship has worked to help change that over the last ten years by providing local fighters with a consistent platform to develop, gain experience, and build toward opportunities on larger stages such as the UFC, PFL, and Bellator.
Fighters Who Passed Through Fierce FC
Over the past decade, Fierce Fighting Championship has seen several fighters move on to major organizations across the sport, further establishing the promotion as a meaningful developmental platform within the Mountain West regional MMA scene.
Among the notable names to compete under the Fierce banner are Mitch Ramirez, Josh Quinlan, and Chris Curtis, all of whom would go on to compete in the UFC following appearances connected to Dana White’s Contender Series and other major promotions.
Additional fighters tied to the promotion include Carl Seumanutafa, who competed across EliteXC, Strikeforce, Bellator, and PFL during his career, along with Westin Wilson, Bobby King, Kai Stewart, and Billy Elekana.
Stewart notably competed in an amateur bout for Fierce Fighting Championship before later becoming a champion in Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, while Elekana made his professional debut under the promotion’s banner before eventually reaching both PFL and the UFC.
Expanding the Regional MMA Spotlight
As SpectationSports continues expanding its regional MMA catalog, the platform has increasingly positioned itself as a home for notable promotions operating outside of the UFC Fight Pass umbrella.
Beyond simply streaming events, SpectationSports also works alongside partnered journalists and media outlets to help provide pre-fight coverage and added exposure for both upcoming cards and the fighters competing on them. For many regional athletes, that type of media attention can serve as valuable experience ahead of the increased promotional and interview demands that come with reaching larger organizations later in their careers.
The platform currently offers subscriptions at $19.99 per month or $89.99 annually. Fans can also receive 20% off either subscription option by using promo code “4OZ” at checkout.
With fights taking place nearly every weekend across the regional MMA landscape, SpectationSports continues building a schedule designed to give fans access to emerging talent from across the country.
This weekend alone, the platform features the prelims for Legacy Fighting Alliance 232 on Friday before following it up with a triple offering of Ignite Fights 113, Fierce Fighting Championship 49, and Fusion Fight League.
For fans, cards like these offer a chance to follow the next generation of fighters as they work toward opportunities on bigger stages — or, in some cases, fight their way back to them.
